Preventing Staff Sexual Misconduct Against Offenders
From NCTI In Partnership With APPA
The current recommendations of the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) require criminal justice agencies to provide extensive training of new employees, and yearly training for all staff of adult and juvenile probation, parole and community corrections agencies as well as, staff and vendors of prisons, jails and residential facilities.
NCTI's Preventing Staff Sexual Misconduct Against Offenders Workshop addresses the staff training recommendations as stated in the NPREC's standards, and provides agencies with prevention and identification strategies to reduce incidences of staff sexual misconduct. In addition, we offer a Facilitator Certification Training for those agencies who desire to deliver this program directly. NCTI's workshop and Facilitator Certification Training are both accredited by the American Probation and Parole Association.
